Darakhshan Sheikh serves as the Chief Legal Officer and Company Secretary at HRSG, bringing over 25 years of experience in corporate law, regulatory affairs, governance, and business leadership. Her expertise spans banking and finance, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and complex commercial transactions, with a strong track record of advising organizations on legal and strategic matters. Prior to joining HRSG, Darakhshan served as Chief Legal Officer and Company Secretary at Raqami Islamic Digital Bank, where she was part of the founding team and played a key role in establishing its legal, regulatory, and governance framework. She previously held senior positions at Zambel Partners and Cordoba Ventures, advising on investments, start-ups, and commercial transactions. Her earlier career includes leadership roles at Soan Valley Technologies, Parazelsus Pakistan, and Liaquat Merchant Associates, where she progressed to Senior Partner. Beyond her executive experience, Darakhshan has served as an Independent Director at SME Leasing Limited and as an advisor to the Pakistan Startup Fund Advisory Board. Recognized by Chambers and Asia Pacific Legal 500 for her expertise in Banking & Finance and Capital Markets, she holds an LL.B. (Hons.) from the University of Bristol and a B.A. from the University of Karachi. At HRSG, Darakhshan is responsible for strengthening the organization’s legal and corporate governance framework, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing strategic legal guidance to support business operations and sustainable growth.
