Khaqan Sikander
A steadfast proponent of the road less travelled, Khaqan, over the course of his career (which spans over 15+ years and 4 continents) has been fortunate enough to work in conflict zones, live in refugee camps, survive a full scale war, travel the world, handle multiple nationally televised crises, implement largescale public private partnerships, run multi country businesses, scale start ups and pen a book. These experiences have helped him develop as a global thinker yet a local actor manifested in his ambidexterity as an executive management professional with strong leadership abilities. In addition to United Nations SDG focused assignments in the Middle East, Latin America and Africa, he has been working across multiple sectors including manufacturing, energy, housing, education, healthcare, technology and human resources solutions across emerging markets. Currently, he is serving as a Chief Commercial Officer – Global at HRSG, the leading manpower outsourcing supplier in Pakistan. His mandate includes developing international go-to-market strategies, identifying and executing acquisitions, building partnerships, and establishing HRSG’s global presence to drive dollarized revenue growth. Previously, he was serving as the CEO of Healthx Pakistan, a startup launched as part of the Trudoc International Group, a multinational healthcare management company, working across Asia and Africa, serving 24/7 in an ecosystem of millions. In the past, he was serving as the CEO of Naya Jeevan, a hybrid (for-profit) early stage social enterprise that is dedicated to rejuvenating the lives of low-to-mid-income families throughout the emerging world by providing them with affordable access to quality healthcare (OPD and IPD insurance) and doctHERs, a digital health platform that matches the underutilized capacity of female doctors (who otherwise would be excluded from the workforce) to the unmet need of health consumers via technology. Before this, as GM and Member Board of Directors of Aman Healthcare Services (The Aman Foundation), a leading social enterprise of Pakistan working in Education (Vocational Training) and Health (Emergency Medical Services, Community Health) sectors, he was spearheading their Business Development, Marketing, Communications and Strategic Operations.
